"Ahahaha!" "Oh course!" Jeanne exclaimed jumping forward and easily deflecting all of them with her sword, sending the bullets careening into walls, dumpsters, and a few towards the giant man. A stake burst from the ground directly underneath where his foot was supposed to go. She was only intending on restricting his movement, but if he was dumb enough to get pinned that would be fine too.

Joe

Not so fast! He thought, his eyes flickering for a moment.  His smile shortened at her words, becoming a bit more neutral, but still clearly happy.  "No way!  If you workout, you must be familiar with one or two of these!  Did you ever have to do suicides for tennis?"

He remembered those from highschool.  Suicides were obviously named for the feeling you get when you do them.

Medaka

"This occured far before I became a vampire," she said with a sigh.  "Animals have fled from me ever since I was a kid."  She recalled that time she went to the zoo and every animal hid inside their cages, fearful of her presence.  It was a traumatizing event.

Marcus

Her moans fueled his thrusts, making them stronger and stronger with each one.  It probably would be smart to switch positions, but Marcus felt a familiar feeling welling up inside.  It all came out at once, spilling out and dripping down her leg.  A loud groan accompanied his release, signaling he was finished.  With that, he pulled out, a feeling of euphoria overcoming him as he stood up.

Crap, that might have been too short for her, he thought, remembering that girls stereotypical enjoy longer sessions.  He maintained his stern look, trying to hide his sudden burst of doubt.

"I hope that was as good for you as it was for me," he said, letting his face soften a bit.

Sakura Matou

"Eh-erm-I don't know? I don't play tennis. I just do what my trainer tells me to do." Sakura answered awkwardly with a surprised expression. "I don't do sports much..."

Elizabeth

"Ahahaha, I don't know what you're talking about, little girl.~Hehehe~" Elizabeth gave her an entirely disingenuous look that basically admitted what she'd done. "Why would I do that, indeed."

Suddenly, a laser burst forth and blasted the shadowy familar she'd noticed a bit ago, causing the table to explode into splinters and create a small crater in the ground. "Shouldn't you give your name?" Elizabeth continued talking without even taking note of her actions. "Didn't your parents ever teach to to be respectful to your elders?"

Joe

Just as she thought, Joe was silently impressed with Sakura's knowledge of Japanese.  However, it was not enough to force out a reaction, as she did look Japanese.  He filled out his form just like Sakura.... but in English.  The man took the papers, giving the form with the japanese signature a raised eyebrow.  "Alright sounds good," he said, stuffing the papers into a drawer below.  "If you use the pool, weight room or basketball court, we offer free towels."

"C'mon," Joe said, signaling her to follow him.  "We are going to do something newish."

The hard part about this was finding something to do.  Places like this were somewhat of a toss up.  Some people only came here for casual fitness, keeping to themselves as they did their workouts.  Other people came here to let loose, hanging out with their friends and family in a place they can be active.  If he was going to give Sakura her gift, he would have to find something that they could join in on.  But first, he had to make sure she was comfortable.

They walked through an enormous hallway, tennis courts on the left and a basketball court on the right.  They passed a weight room as well, so the pool was downstairs.  He stopped as they reached the center of that passageway and turned to Sakura.  "Alright, what are you good at?" he asked, looking at Sakura with a curious smile.

Sakura Matou

"Um, what about you?" Sakura asked, turning around the question towards Joe. She wasn't terribly confident at her skill in any of these but she didn't want to up and say it.

Oka

"Yes, now! Why should something this important have to wait!" Oka exclaimed in a huff. "Don't worry, I'll hold back on you, ohohohoho." Oka said to Breeze with a smirk, covering her mouth with her hand as she laughed.

3816
Oka Kurosawa

"No. Cheerleaders!" Oka wagged her finger at breeze, and Mimi mimicked her movements. Oka was ready to fight to keep them away!

Auspicious Breeze

"I'll fight you for them!" She stood there, arms crossed under her chest, and glared as best she could when dealing with a cute girl like Oka. Which wasn't very intimidating, admittedly. "If you win, I'll stop mentioning cheerleaders at all! I'll even wear pants or something for the whole tournament! If I win, you have to stop trying to get in their way! And wear a cheerleader outfit yourself."

Oka

"Fine by me! I'll wear whatever you want! I'm not going to lose! And when I win, you're going to be wearing a nice frilly dress! Pants aren't going to settle this that easily!"

Oka turned in a huff to Vanguard. "So, we can use an arena, right!"

Elizabeth

What a cute little demon! Elizabeth thought to herself. She inserted another idea into the girl, one from the back of her mind creeping forward. Maybe she'd want to just lean forward and kiss him. She made him look just that little bit cuter.

"So what is your name, child." Elizabeth finally asked, turning to face them. She was addressing both of them.

3818
Vanguard

"Yes, though there might be some conditions put into place in order to make it fairer for the other contestants. Nothing that would give you any larger disadvantage than your foe, I can assure you." He nodded curtly before reaching for a pile of documents and handing them one each.

"This is just a formality, it states that you are consenting to participate and specifies the deadline for the inauguration. At the moment, this is all you'll need to sign. Your name, address, and a way for us to contact you. There is also a list of rules of regulations, though you will not need to sign it yet. We leave the greater formalities for the inauguration day." He told them frankly.

The rules were honestly quite simple, and most of them were common sense more than anything. It stipulated that the fighters consented to performing risky tournaments, and while medical , lodging and food expenses were covered, it was their responsibility to make sure their health came first and foremost.

Other than that, they had a fair amount of freedom, surprising even. They could use the facilities in the stadium as they pleased, and the only true requirement was to meet the deadlines for each tournament. And of course, they could not under any circumstance outside a life threatening one, cause any direct or indirect harm to staff or spectators.

Auspicious Breeze

Well, that was a lot of things. Breeze had no idea what to put for all the contact information stuff though. "I don't really have much of an address, and... phones are those things people talk into right?" So this part was hard for her.

And beyond that, she had one more thing to figure out! "So what do I need to do to get some cheerleaders here, anyway?" She'd fight Oka if she had to! Well, Oka's pets. She didn't want to actually hurt the girl.

Oka Kurosawa

"No. Cheerleaders!" Oka wagged her finger at breeze, and Mimi mimicked her movements. Oka was ready to fight to keep them away!

Sakura Matou

Sakura signed her name in neat Japanese characters with a flourish. Maybe Joe would be impressed by her being multilingual. "Thanks for this Joe." She said, handing her form back to the man.

Olga Marie

"Yeah, exactly! Plus cats are cute. I could start working on more permanent fields that have more passive effects, it's pretty clear yours are superior to mine in terms of at least defense. I'll work on stuff that will weaken our enemies if they ever try to intrude."

3821
Olga Marie

"Golems are good, but some variety would be nice. In my experience they tend to be rather dumb. I like to use cats, personally. People don't ever question why a cat's decided to glare at them. It's the perfect familar!"

Marie cleared her throat. "I'd like to work together, if that's fine. I think learning more about each other's styles would be benefical." Plus an exercize in trust would be good too.

3822
Olga Marie

Olga nodded. "I agree, but I also think some familars would be highly useful as well. They could help keep the surrounding area clear and do menial tasks. Just basic ones, although we should work towards procuring some vats to grow homunculi."

3823
Olga Marie

"Anyway, we should really work on setting up a real workshop. This building is adequete but I feel we could do much better. Making sure we're invincible in our base should be our top priority!" Olga looked away from Grigori, blushing.

The Elites

The hound glared at the wall of fire, his veins grew out of his forehead and he dashed from one side while the vampire cursed. This was too dangerous, but they wouldn't let them get away this easily. The problem was her weakness to fire...

She'd fall back. No matter, he would pick up the weight. The least she could do was report back to HQ. Their hound could handle himself well enough, him and the other...

Okami took the streets and chased while Safira took the rooftops in an opposite direction. Meanwhile, a third man of older appearance tipped his hat, revolvers to the hip and rifle pointed down. He sighed at the whole scene. "My my, so this is how it's gonna be..." He clicked his tongue, aimed his rifle and fired a magical bolt from two kilometers away, sending it flying right in their track so they'd meet headfirst with a devastating explosion.

Jealter

Jeanne laughed and continued harassing them both with fire, waving her hands as if she were a conductor and with a big smile on her face. Then, the pale woman sensed something magical incoming. "Useless!" She yelled, blasting the bolt with her fire.

3825
Grigori

"That does sound useful, some sort of indirect debilitation, perhaps. I've considered using a numbing effect before. All the strength in the world doesn't mean anything if you can't feel your arms and legs. Perhaps we should look into something like that, Olga." Looking up at her apprentice as she considered possible applications.

Olga Marie

Olga perked up and smiled, giggling a bit before blushing. "Yeah." She finally said. "It can be pretty useful against random people, and I'm sure there are monsters here who are naturally freakishly strong. Not having to incant is a big benefit."

Olga paused.

"Thank you." She said simply
