Dark Side of the Moon

"Lancelot, what is wrong and . . ." Saber paused as she saw the man her knight was dragging.  "Please release him.  He means us no harm," she said in a soft voice, seeing Shirou like this, his transformation into the man that would become her closest friend and confidant was overwhelming.

"Please, let him go."

She looked at Ezra, bowed her head and said, "I apologize, I have other matters to attend to."

"That is so unfair," Forest muttered to herself as she saw the lovely Asian girl getting some lip service from Law.

"Yeah, you got discovered," Forest said, frowning at the female vampire's words.  Wait, Kindred . . . Vampire the Masquerade!  I watched that show, it was bloody horrific . . .

She struggled to remember about the show, different Clans having different abilities and the guy who played the Judge on Buffy was some ugly Nosferatu or something.  There was also a bunch of Anne Rice twaddle too.

However, there was something else too.  She might be some Vampire Scientist or some such.  Better than that cult that worships that punk Frost on 11th . . .

"This is the Nexus.  There might be other Clans from your world, but this place holds vampires from a variety of different worlds with different temperaments and abilities.   I mean, my friend Saber and I had to bring down a poor Japanese school girl a couple of weeks ago because she was just a mindless monster in pain.  Me?  I fight the forces of evil because I'm a bit bent like that."

"Why are we dressed like this?"

Forest looked at Saber and realized it was a very good question.  The Once and Future King was pouting slightly, her lip thrust out as her fists were clinched at her sides.  She was wearing a French Maid's uniform that was indecently short complete with white high heels and little black heels.  Saber had her arms pressed at her sides to keep the uniform's skirt from riding up to show anything.  Her cheeks were pink and even her pony tail bobbed with indignation.

Forest looked down at herself and scowled, realizing that Saber had gotten lucky with the Maid Uniform. "You have to be sodding kidding me," Forest said with a growl as she held out the extremely short purple pleated skirt she was wearing.  Her long blond hair had been tied off into twin tails and she had pom-poms attached to her hands.  The purple and white crop top gave a good look at the muscles of her midriff and had CE complete with a crescent moon behind it. 

Saber stomped her foot and asked, "Again, why are we dressed like this?"

"I have no bloody clue, but I'm going to bust someone's face in until I . . ."  Forest blinked as a table with a spiral bound notebook appeared before her.  She turned and noticed she was in a very lavish room with a four poster bed that could be described as "orgy sized".

The blond maid-king picked up the notebook, opened it up and began to read, "We cordially welcome you to the Velvet Room in which . . ." Emerald eyes met Forest's as Saber's mouth dropped open and her cheeks turned bright red.  She thrust the note book to the vampire and the vampire scowled as she read it.

"What the fucking hell is this this twaddle? 'In which your most deviant desires can come true.  Think of the Velvet Room as a reality marble that produces the most lewd and decedent interactions.  Posts in here are not part of Cross Effects.  In basic terms, this is where RP fucking that can't and won't happen in the main storyline itself will happen . . .' No.  Just no."

"Why are we the ones introducing this?" Saber asked, "I am inexperienced in these matters and you . . ."

Forest scowled and said, "Because we're fetish bait that's why.  So this Velvet Room is just for people to RP smut and shagging?  Bloody lovely."

"There is more appearing on the page," Saber said pointing as she looked, "'Enjoy your stay in the Velvet Room and remember that what happens here stays in here.'  Forest, I refuse to read this last part."

"Sod this," Forest said before throwing the notebook to the floor and heading towards the door.  "Neckbeards can get their smut on if they want to, but we're not having any part of this . . ."

Yes, Saber and Fore killed a Sacchin together.

Lyco, please put this in the sheet.  Give the summons stats like they were minor characters, please.

Forest

Forest's indigo eyes flashed before she returned Calico's smile.  So, he doesn't like to be called Archer.

"Well, I could do something original and radical and, I don't know, call you by your bloody name.  If you weren't such a get and give it, Calico Cosmic Wanker," she said as he swung Mia into his shoulder.  The not-girl looked pleased and giggled at Forest.  Forest winked at her but stiffened as she saw the girl's eyes flash as she looked at Law.

Calico made some comment about getting off the roof and headed towards the steps.  She said, "Finally, no more crazy talk."

As they walked down the steps, Law turned and looked at her.  "If I have to take the guy who nearly blew me up by mistake, you're taking the kid. Just saying."

And separating them is going to be a bad thing, she thought with a sigh.

She said, "Hey, Mia, you want to ride with me?  I have a really neat car and it goes wicked fast."

She sent to Calico, in Japanese, Law's not too happy with you almost blowing him up, so you might want to ride with me.  I promise not to bite you again.  Unless you asked for it.

As she went down she felt something off.  As if she was being watched.  Scowling, she sent to Law and Calico, Stop and stay behind me. We're not alone.

She jogged in front of the menfolk and said, "Okay, you blighted wanker, if you're watching us, show yourself."


Saber

Saber sighed and turned to the newcomer.  She said, "Your titles and those who have sent you here are meaningless here.  However your knowledge could be useful."

She took another bite of her doughnut, finishing it.  She said, "As Henry said, please enlighten us about these gene-stealers or whatnot."
