フリーダムウォーズ ボランティアチュートリアルビデオ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEjFpyAzisM#ws)
A collaboration between Sony Japan Studio, Shift, and Dimps, Freedom Wars (http://www.jp.playstation.com/scej/title/freedomwars/) (otherwise known as Panopticon) is an RPG set in a dystopian far future, to be released in Japan on the PS Vita in 2014.
There are a few Fate/ alumni in the cast already, such as Asakawa Yuu and Nakata Jouji; as well as Hara Yumi from Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus and The Idolm@ster.
It's set to make its playable debut at this weekend's Jump Festa in Japan (http://gematsu.com/2013/12/freedom-wars-playable-jump-festa-weekend), so it shouldn't be too long before the first gameplay impressions start to filter out.
-
Hmm, what is this actually about?
-
From what I gather, the game is set in an Orwellian prison complex in the far future, where the protagonist was assigned a million-year-long sentence at birth. In order to commute the sentence, you have to go out on "monster hunting" missions. Oh, and you have an android "accessory" which works as your companion, which reminds me of the setup in that recent show Almost Human (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Almost_Human_%28TV_series%29).
-
Hmm, I see.
Does the game involve "hunting" the assholes who locked you up there in the first damn place?
-
There's not much news about the story aspect of the game just yet, so I dunno.
-
Ah, OK.

More info in English has been posted in this article (http://gematsu.com/2014/01/freedom-wars-due-japan-summer). (Some more gameplay footage was screened at the Taipei Game Show (http://gematsu.com/2014/01/21-minutes-freedom-wars-footage-english), too.)

Hmm, looks interesting.
The world certainly seems like a horrible dystopia, I'm hoping the people behind it get their comeuppance.

A story trailer is up (http://gematsu.com/2014/03/freedom-wars-story-introduction-video):
