Nay, my taste is exquisite. A JoJo reference alone confirms it.

I noticed you equate Clock Tower with Mage's Association. MA is much older than Clock Tower. Say hello to Alas Academy and Sea of Astray.

I know what I said was rude. I really do but I just had to know.
From an outsider's perspective it's all kind of stupid these arguments, your persistence with these fics and everyone else's perstistance in trying to change your mind polite or no.
I've just been looking at this situation and I've grown tired. It's only been a few weeks for me. I was just curious as to how the hell you go through it for years on end. I just wonder how  you put up with it or even continue.

I don't care if you don't listen to me anymore and think I'm a troll or hater now. I just know that nothing that I say will ever reach you. I've tried the logical and polite route, I really have genuinely tried to go that route. There was no sarcasm in my hopes of helping you improve as a writer but that hasn't worked. I can't think of a single suggestion I've made or point about X or Y being impossible that you've taken in and integrated to your works. I thought I'd reached this point before as my last PM to you would have illustrated but well I think I'm just about ready to give up on you (I pray to whatever non-existent gods I can that I don't relapse).

I do have to ask though why do you post your fics if you ignore most criticism and are writing for fun?

We can't help you grammatically because you refuse to disclose anything about that, our knowledge of canon cannot help you, when we try to tackle things from a narrative perspective you don't change or accuse us of being mean or "absolutists", and finally you don't get many (from what I've seen the number could be 0) postive responses so why do you bother even posting them online on forums.

If you have a fanfiction.net account post there and let it fade into obscurity or rise to fame there.

I was at school at the time, but yeah...

Saying "people who say this are being idiots and yaddy yadda" might not directly target people, but when you, for the sake of a metaphor, say it loudly in the vicinity of people whom you know use that term, they're going to feel targeted and would be justified to feel so: the intent doesn't matter, because you did insult them because they use such a term, and they're going to feel targeted by you because they know you know that they use such a term.

So yeah, communications faux pas. Be more careful about what you say, because remember: you might be talking to one person in particular, but everyone can see the post.

Alice had a perfect reason to ban you, so don't be hypocrite calling out someone about talking about suicide.

And stop using "desist". Using archaic words does not make you look better, only pompous. Trust me, my whole MA dissertation is about such thing.

Congrats, you finally got Alice pissed off enough to quit because of you.

I hope you're happy because you just killed the fuck out of this site.

What do you mean by Absolutist?
The fact that I have a rigid adherence to Canon?
Look at the document in the questions thread it has an explanation (roughly) of how the saber thing works in canon. Saber was dragoned up from birth in Nasuverse.

So just curious why you don't try original fiction.
The Nasuverse is fun but you can still keep that fun by just having a universe inspired by it and various other universes. You can throw some concepts from Digimon (I head you're a fan) and noone will complain about canon since it will flat out be your own universe.

I'm okay with flexibility when it comes to canon. I'm okay with having Shirou project Excalibur because one didn't know about the retcon to the end of HF.

I just want to see the universe itself done justice to instead of you know treated as a platform to elevate a character. Also Lantz I have asked this before and while you can claim fun or "that's just the story i'm writing" all the time, Why do you cling to Satoshi?

You can break him down into multiple component characters with variable strengths and weakness. You can break down the conepts you are trying to explore with your OC on an individual level instead of creating a Frankenstein of (what so far it seems to be) what you think is cool.

I still don't get why you don't just branch staight out into original fiction if you are going to take so many liberties with canon.

I created a Devil May Cry fic and many of the characters are inspired by characters from the series but I changed the lore up and turned it into it's own thing.

Also you can't have legend take precedence over canon otherwise you'd have something like real Sasaki Koujirou existing and that is blatant disregard of canon and the entire twist of his character being "False Assassin" (beyond the non-hassan thing).

Lantz, that is not what I said. I didn't say I was immediately right, or that the people who helped you are wrong. I said that given how much things are questioned, there is a CHANCE they may be wrong, that you may be wrong. I also said that was up to you to decide, but that it required seeing things in a neutral light, which you don't sound to me like you're doing.

Of course, I could be wrong here as well, I'm just making this observation based on how you tend to shut down discussion because you feel like you're being offended without adressing the points it brings up, or because you don't think the other person can be fair with you.

Also, you talk about circumstances and details and reasons for things being the way they are a lot, but most of the time you don't make any effort to explain them, and when you do, you're unclear. With things like that, it's only obvious that people won't understand you, and will even misunderstand you.

It's true he can be pushy and an asshole to you, but have you ever considered that it's because he's frustrated with how you can't see things his way? This debacle goes both directions lantz. Of course, if you want to completely ignore him that's your decision, but you are missing constructive critique at times by doing so.

Okay, okay, if you say so.
