*cough* Type-Moon *cough*
Sorry, forgot The Terminator and Alien weren't made by Type-Moon for a minute there.  Small lapse in thought.

Who's this?
The hero DSM needs.

More relevantly, Mordred and Rider are tied in the fashion competition - Mordred's armor certainly looks cooler than Rider's stripper outfit, but how can one compete against sweater Rider?  Certainly not with a mere tube top!  However, in battle it probably depends on if Clarent can beat Bellerophon, though Rider also technically has a lot more versatility with the mount.

Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator lands in an alien-infested Nostromo from the movie Alien. He must go through an alien queen and a number of regular aliens before the ship reaches earths orbit.  Does he succeed?

Yeah, I see what you mean.  It would be odd for someone to get Kirei for example just because their type is similar to his, despite not being as morally...  "Ambiguous" as Kirei.  While the previous tests have stupid questions, you probably won't get Kirei unless you clearly state you don't really care about other people.  That's kind of an issue with the personality types not going into morality,  since any type could theoretically be good or evil.

Using types as a basis would certainly make the test seem more objective and less random, but without going into rationale and morality, you couldn't really say "Yeah, I'm like this character in particular."  Not sure how to make a balance between questions of personality (dealing with types) and questions of morality though.

Yeah, I don't expect there to be a character for every type, at least if I'm trying to be as true to the characters as possible.

We could probably just keep it in this thread since it's relevant to the topic.

Here's a very simple overview of the types http://www.personalitypage.com/html/high-level.html

I was thinking of making a personality quiz for Fate/Stay Night, and at least make it better than the ones I've seen.

I'd go about it by categorizing different characters as a certain brigg-myers type and having questions that are more typical of an organized personality quiz (so none of that "what is your favorite color?" stuff), and maybe a few fun questions at the end.  However, it's pretty difficult to categorize characters with any certainty.

Stuff like Rin being INFJ and Sakura ISFJ was the idea.

I'd appreciate any input on the idea and maybe suggestions on how certain characters would be typed.  Having a lot of trouble thinking of what Shirou would be, for example.

I dislike most of the newer ones (including ruby etc), but I actually really liked B/W

Anime is a Japanese word, it doesn't have a plural....
We're not typing in Japanese.  The word anime in English has a western context to it.

Some visual novels have actual gameplay.  Symphonic Rain, for example, is also a rhythm game.

True.  But it is pretty convenient when someone asks you what anime you've seen, especially if you can't remember, and it's easier to converse with someone whose tastes are out in the open.

By the way, anime is the plural of anime.

I'm finally getting around to all these threads. ^_^" To be honest, I've never used MAL before. Besides listing all your favorite animes so that people can laugh at your tastes, what else does it do? :3
That's pretty much all I use it for

I know lower class plebians use it to check recommended anime.  I'm surprised no one here uses it, since I figured most people here would be into anime.

Which Melty Blood do you all play?

I used to have Actress Again but it bugged and I ended up having to remove it.
