So, I have this thing I'm doing for JukePop serials. It's an on-going online serial staring Forest, a vampire a bit too good for her own good. Armed with an absurdly large hand gun, a smart mouth, and a love for pop culture, she fights the forces of Evil.

I would like to thank everyone who has voted so far. I'm currently 94 votes with only three chapters! If I can keep this momentum I'll be in the JP30 (the top 30 stories, which will actually get me paid again).

Yeah, I have finally got around to reading it. It's definitely looking very good, and I can't see any obvious mistakes in it this time, unlike in the first chapter. I'm looking forward to seeing where you're going to take it.

The cliffhangers on every chapter is to keep the reader interested. Which works for an on-line serial like that.
Jim Butcher pretty much does the same for the Harry Dresden novels because he has a huge beta group that reads each chapter after he writes them.

Hmm, interesting. Is there a reason Gabriel is using projectile vomit as a weapon? Also, why does the alcohol seem to have so much of an effect on Rufus when he threw the bottle at him? He said it was acting like acid.
Oh, and which complete nutjob is insane enough to ask for Forest's godson as their slave? That seems like a good way of getting yourself killed to me....

So, years ago, the first "Law Unto Herself" short story was published by a company called Pill Hill Press in their "Fem-Fangs" anthology. Pill Hill died over a year ago, but one of the co-editors of the anthology has decided to put the anthology back into print via Kindle. They retitled it Re-Vamped: Blood Lust Revenge and right now they're having a special promotion this weekend.
The kindle version is currently free for download this weekend only.

Of course the bad guys had a back up plan; they've already proven that they're smarter than the average bears.
However, Forest is now equipped with a sword and Hawk Hunters, and Gabriel and Wynn have never seen eye to eye.
