Eevee

The pokemon suddenly began to chase his own tail, continuing to yell at them, moving rapidly in a small circle as he did so.

Hazel

It was a rundown district of the Nexus, a place without power.  Within a dark abandoned school gymnasium, Parker and a few other gang members gathered.  In the center of the gym, a giant summoning circle was formed.  Standing above it was a little boy in an archaic wizard outfit, like something out of an old RPG.

Smoke flowed into the room through cracks in the building, gathering in a spot just outside the circle.  "Is it ready?" Hazel asked as her mouth and face formed.

Parker sighed and said,  "Yes but this is his first time in the field.  Hopefully, if everything goes well, we should be able to summon a fire elemental.  Go ahead!"

With his hands glowing a feint blue, he squatted down and pressed them into the ground, causing electrical sparks of magical energy to surge throughout the building.  Something was coming.

Paladin

He shook his head with some mirth. "You should get dressed before you eat. There are some clothes that might be able to fit you in my room. Nothing too nice but it's not as if I use it much mysellf."

Grigori

Well, she didn't know about half of those terms. But that was fine. Grigori at least grasped the basics, and she was sure enough that Olga wasn't lying to her. There was no reason for her to do so right now at least. Instead she just found herself smirking at the other girl's comment.

"My, my, you're far more gluttonous than I thought, Lady Animusphere. Are you sure you would make much use of my spell even if you learned it?" Her voice was teasing and she smiled at the younger girl.

Olgamally

"Of course I would." Olga said with an entirely straight face. "The ability to go days, weeks, or months on end with sleep being the only disruption to my research would be a gigantic boon." Her face suddenly morphed into a playful grin. "But, that doesn't mean I should have any reason to hold back on the occasions I do actually eat, right?"

Anastasia

"You mean me borrowing your clothes? I'm about as tall as you." It was harder to tell with his armor on, but it seemed so.

"Well, whatever fits." Anastasia shrugged and went to his room. While she rummaged through his wardrobe, she made an interesting discovery. She kept female clothes around. Nothing her size, so he couldn't be in that kind of eccentricity that few nobles indulged in. She drew another conclusion. He probably had some mistress. Because one couldn't marry didn't mean that one couldn't keep secretly a lover. Ah, men of the religion, such things weren't exactly uncommon.

She put on some male trousers and shirt on her and came back. A bit baggy on her considering their different builds, but worked out. "Ummm, I know you brought me here out of kindness of your heart, but what about your lady? She probably won't be happy if she sees me here."

Paladin

The knight's helmet slammed down back onto his head along with the chef's hat the moment he heard footsteps. His eyes flicked over as he finished stirring the stew and set aside some fish. Paladin had attempted to emulate this 'sushi' he had discovered in one of the Nexus' districts.

But then he realized that the girl wasn't actually awake. He stared at her sleepwalking before reaching out and keeping her still with one hand. "Anastasia, wake up."

Suzuko

The businesswoman hid a smile at the small pout that the purple haired girl had on her face. Then she reached out with a word of thanks and took the sugar. She added just a bit. The perfect amount so that the flavor would remain mostly the same.

"This might be a bit forward of me to ask, but how do you plan on raising your child, Sakura?"

Grigori

Grigori nodded at that. This was... nice. It was at least to some degree far more interesting than the usual outings that she was forced to comply with. "Lady Animusphere, you come from a distinguished family, do you not? What is your family's history?"

Sakura Matou

A big smile broke out on Sakura's face. More importantly though, it was also an entirely genuine one. "Oh, it's no problem at all." She asked as she put down the teapot. "It's probably my favorite subject right now."

The young woman leaned back into her big comfortable chair and laughed. It was a mirthful and light-hearted laugh. "And well, to be perfectly honest, I have absolutely no idea at all." She answered honestly and directly with a small chuckle. "I never had parents, ever. Not real ones, anyway. The closest I ever had was my uncle, but he died when I was very young. I'll probably end up giving her everything that I ever wanted, honestly. I'm afraid I'm going to completely spoil her."

She laughed at that, but there was a genuine note of worry hidden behind the laugh. She wanted to raise her child right, but didn't have any idea how. Books could only take her so far.

Emily

The changeling nodded along with Rider's explanation, not bothering to do anything new with the vines for the moment as she glanced down at the lavender-head's now-exposed nipples before she remembered something else Rider had said.

"Wait, you said that you help protect her," Emily said after a moment, frowning a little, "So you're pretty strong, I take it?"

The pirate and the puppet called it off for the night, figuring they were better off taking a break and planning some more. There was still lots of time and things to figure out, so it wasn't a bad spot to take a breather.

He was just chilling on a hill, staring at the sunset and fiddling with his fire magic boredly when he suddenly felt a pull. Something was calling him, it was like being tugged at down below, even his fire was flicking around like if it was attracted to something, somewhere or someone...

The circle soon caught ablaze as the magic intensified, sending the flames circling around and growing hotter and hotter until the entire halls of the gymnasiums were littering with flame and fire, dancing freely with dangerous hotness. The infernal vortex grew taller and more intense in the center, where the circle was drawn like a pillar from hell, and the flames dispersed as if they took life before fading to leave the ground with flames licking the air above  and a tall and imposing man.

His coat was thick, and its body was nothing more than a charred skeleton larger than most men. The burning figure's stance was imposing, fiery and bold, and the powerful undead silently stared at the summoner as if the fire was seeping right into her soul.

"Are you... my master?" He asked, as if expecting something from her.

Saber

That was more than she had expected, and wait, even teleportation, that was quite useful indeed. She couldn't really  make a comment though on his boasted offensive potential, as she had yet to see him in action.

"That's a pretty nice collection of spells, more than I had expected to be honest." Her amber colored eyes glanced over him again, taking him in with a new degree of appreciation to them. Not only was he perfect teasing material, he had practical uses too.

"I mostly just know how to hit things hard and if that didn't work I hit it harder. I don't look that strong now do I?" She asked him, It would serve nicely to let her know how he viewed her.

Hazel

The boy casting the spell was pulled back by Parker as the circle was engulfed in flames.  Hazel walked forward, one hand on her hip as she confidently walked forward to greet this supposed fire elemental.  As she approached the "fire elemental," she extended her hand, lightly stroking the creature's cheek.  "Yes, I am your master.  Do you have a name?"

Meanwhile, Parker glanced at the boy, then at the rest of the men in the room.  If he did anything crazy, he would be filled with magic bullets in a matter of seconds.

"Name's Mario. Mario Mario."  He chuckled before brushing her hand aside, not in the mean condescending way but more in the uncaring way. Compared to his scary appearance, it was almost jarringly...

Casual? Lame? Definitely lame.

The pirate sighed and gave her a slap on the shoulder.

"Well, It looks like I've drawn the short end of the stick again. I don't know why the hell someone like you would need to summon me of all people, but for a mistress you sure are desperate. And what was with that summoning? If I didn't know any better, I could've sworn I lost my stomach along the way!"

The pirate berated the mage and looked right at the girl's eyes, crossing his arms as if grinning the whole time.

"Well, in any case, I'm utterly dissatisfied, but I hate to disappoint a cute lady. I'll accept you as my lord on one condition. When it comes to the battlefield, I will disregard everything you say.  You can just sit in a closet play with your toys and suck on your thumbs or something until I'm done taking care of it. Since you're my master in form alone, I take you have no objections with me serving you in form alone, young lady?" He said, this time definitely in the condescending way before booping her nose.

Grigori

She tapped her chin with a finger. "Other than you digestive system punishing you for shoving all of that extra food inside? Not too much, I suppose. Although after you spend a long enough time without eating it can be a bit strange getting back into it again."

Paladin

The knight stopped for a moment. Almost as if he was confused about what she had just said. Then Paladin burst into laughter at the idea. "Oh-- no, no, my order functionally has a vow of celibacy. The extra clothes in there are primarily for people such as yourself. People who need rest or some small amount of shelter."

Suzuko

"Oh, I'm sure you'll spoil her at first. Parents almost always do that. I'm sure that I've spoiled my son a bit rotten all things considered. If there's any advice that I can give it's that you need to teach your child how to pursue happiness. Just providing it rots the fruit. It makes them entitled, and it makes it harder for them to really be happy later in life."

She clapped her hands together and her look became more serious. "You have to teach your kids on how to be happy first. Virtue without joy won't ever last. Teaching them the art of finding their own happiness will last forever. More importantly, it gives them an anchor. Something to remember why they do what they do and live the lives that they live. There can't be any goodness, any virtue, without joy. At least not any that matters."

Anastasia

Damn, she thought that she finally found some secret that she hid, but his image as a knight of a holy order had no cracks. "Huh, not even a sister or another relative? Be careful then, strangers might draw their own conclusions about that. I believe because I'm not exactly a stranger."

"If neighbors bombard with questions about me, just tell them I'm your younger relative visiting you. It's not exactly farfetched. You're probably older than me, wouldn't be that hard to convince them." Anastasia proposed. Such a white lie probably would be convenient for Paladin's sake. Would shake off everyone but most dedicated stalkers intent on digging up dirt on him.

Olgamally Animusphere

Olga blinked. "Wait, you don't have a way to deal with that magically? One of my friends taught me it, I could teach you. It's a great spell."

Hazel

Hazel lowered her eyes at the skeleton as he brushed her hand away.  Her head snapped to the side to take note of the slap on the shoulder, all the while listening to the skeleton man's speech.  Once he was done, she grabbed him by his bony throat and lifted him into the air. Then, with her other hand, she took her cigarette out of her mouth and exhaled a puff of smoke in his face.

"Lets not get ahead of ourselves," she said, her lips stretching into a grin.  Her magic was already in effect, dropping his body temperature a few degrees below its normal state, but not enough to outright freeze him.  "I wouldn't summon anything I couldn't kill myself.  Now, lets try this again, except this time, adjust your tone."

She released her grip and folded her arms and said, "My name is Hazel, whats yours?"

The skeleton shuddered. Tch. An ice mage? This was getting more troublesome by the second. All he wanted was to take a nap, jeez. The skeleton barely resisted at all, in fact the view was quite nice from up there.

"Well that's awfully classy of you. My name is only for friends and comrades, and I don't consider someone who'd threaten a subordinate so crudely either. Call me whatever you like. It's not like ridding yourself of allies will do you any favors." He said harshly, not sparing her a shred of sympathy before wiping the soot off his coat. "Jeez, for a summoner you sure are inexperienced. I'm surprised the summoning didn't explode on your face or something. And what's with the decor? Sheesh..."
