Rebeca

Rebeca smiled as she nuzzled her face deeper into the pillow. But Aki’s stirn voice spoke up a moment latter, “I don’t recall telling you my full name.”

Rebeca groaned and slowly raised herself from her bed, before looking at the other girl while rubbing an eye tiredly. “What are you talking about…?” She was actually confused at first, before she realized what she did, then she seemed to tense up and desperately avoided Aki’s gaze.

As she moved behind the girl, Rider saw Vanguard running towards her once more, travelling in the opposite direction to her.

Is he ever going to learn? Well, I guess he gives me cover, at least..., she thought.

To her surprise, though, he removed his cape and threw it towards the girl, attempting to blind her.

Hey, he actually is capable of using his brain... well, whatever the hell it is that does his thinking....

Unfortunately for him, though, his opponent simply ducked underneath, countering his attack and sending him flying up into the air. Rider prepared to attack but, somehow, Vanguard managed to grab hold of the girl's leg as he flew away, pulling her up into the air with him. Rider ran in the general direction of their flight, hoping to intercept them as they landed, only to see a golden flash in the sky above her. The girl and Vanguard both fell towards the ground, Rider's weapons re-materialising in her hands as the girl finally released them as she continued to track their flight path, ready to attack once more when the girl landed. Ensuring she kept a safe distance from the landing point of the extremely heavy and fast-moving Vanguard and trying to remain out of sight for a surprise attack, she watched as he slammed into the ground like a comet, the girl landing nearby.

Rider crept towards them, keeping herself hidden, and waited for Vanguard to make his next move, preparing to attack when the girl was otherwise occupied. As he stood up, though, she could see that he had suffered significant damage. His armour was cracked all over. Instead of attacking, he clapped his hands in joy and addressed the girl.

"Magnificent, truly magnificent", he roared happily, "you are truly the strongest opponent I have ever fought, I can tell, your might can even surpass the warrior god Yole's!"

Then, he bowed before her.

"I am sorry, Empress, I have sullied this bout. I have underestimated your might far too much, It grieves me to say so but I have not given my all, and disrespected the warrior you are by doing so", he said, holding his hand out to her.

Not this crap again..., she thought, annoyed at the lack of seriousness with which he was taking the whole situation.

"Look at this hand. While still uncrippled and unbridled by your blow, it has now suffered far too much damage for me to withstand another of your powerful attacks. I ask you, would you find in your heart of hearts the grace to let me call forth my master and ask her to heal my wounds?. We may resume afterwards, this time I will not disappoint your might", he continued.

Right, because Sakura just has infinite prana and wasting it on dumb sparring matches is just fine, right...? she thought.

Nevertheless, still hiding in case the battle began once more, she decided to contact her master. Not that she expected much, since she knew healing magic was not one of Sakura's specialities.

Sakura, Vanguard is hurt, he seems to expect you to heal him somehow, so he can let this idiot beat him up a bit more..., she said, clearly unimpressed with their blood-knight attitude.

I don't think this woman intends to kill any of us, but be careful if you come near. She's very strong, she added.

Abigail

"Hey, uh, Abby? Mind donating a muffin?" The scruffy looking guy laying on the couch said,"I haven't had anything to eat since yesterday morning."

Abigail tucked a stray lock of her hair behind her ear and looked at the poor, unfortunate fellow.  His hair was rumpled, there were dark circles under his green eyes, stubble dotting his chin and cheeks, and he was dressed in mismatched clothing.  Yet he wasn't handcuffed so that meant he was just some poor victim of the Nexus.

She walked over to him and sat beside him, opening the giant tupperware case.  She said, "I've got Cranberry Orange and Cheese Strudel.  I just baked them this morning, but . . .  going a couple hundred miles per hour on a broomstick means they're not very warm anymore."

Her peridot eyes glinted as she said, "So, since you know my nickname, you should at least tell me yours.  I mean, I'm giving you baked goods, made with my own two hands, out of the kindness of my heart."

Forest

The vampire rubbed her nose as it itched.  Someone must be talking about me, she thought as she stepped out of the shower and began to dry off.

"Cranberry Orange is fine, I couldn't care less that it's cold. I'm hungry as hell right now." He scratched his nose before replying to her question, grinning a little as he grabbed one of the larger muffins. "Lawrence. You can call me Law though."

He took a bite out of the muffin after that, scarfing it down like a starving wolf would before eyeing another muffin, the slightly cold food not deterring his appetite. The fact that the muffins were pretty damn amazing tasting anyway. Law's mouth watered a little at the thought of having them warm, with some butter or some kind of jelly...

I'd butter her muffin.

Oh for gods sakes.

Please, you're a horny twenty something, don't tell me you're not thinking it.

I have a hard enough time with you in my head without you checking out every ass we see.

So you are thinking about it?

A bit. I'm worried a bit about death though.

Get a rape whistle then you pussy. She'll have something to shove up your ass.

Funny.

Don't fight her. You'll lose. We're no where near what she is, and even at our peak, I doub't you'd stand a chance. I would survive. You wouldn't.

You fill me with confidence. I'm just hoping she'll find some new toy to molest.

Abigail

"You can have a second one.  Try one of the cheese ones.  They're my favorite," she said, handing him one after watching him inhale one of the Cran-orange ones.  He was watching her sort of warily, and the Changling tilted her head.

She lifted her eyebrows, grinned, and said, "Despite what you've heard, I promise I won't steal your soul, Law.  Or enslave you or any of that other stupid shit that people say that Fae do but we really don't."

She's a fairy?

I don't care, she's hot, she's a redhead, she's willing to give me muffins, and did I mention she's hot and gave me a muffin. Fucks given about her possibly being my fairie godmother who happened to not get the memo about me being sort of dead, roughly none. I really can't say this changes anything.

Not that kind of fairy. She likes other women genius.

...Don't tell me you don't believe in fairies, but knew about vampires.

It is not as if I have had contact with everything supernatural that scurries around in our world.  You and I are rare things.

This is priceless. You do know I'm going to enjoy mocking you for this.

Shut up and talk to your Godmother then.

Lawrence grinned, quickly grabbing another muffin - the cheese strudel even though he'd probably not like it but hey, didn't hurt to try one -  and once again making short work of it before speaking, brushing some stray crumbs off his scraggly beard with the edge of his shirt before making a comment. "So, a fairy. Like, fairie god mother fairy or tinkerbell or some sort of Lords and Ladies style type? I uh, never met one before. Also, do you know if anyone will give me a ride around here? There's someone who told me she'll let me crash at her place for a bit, Forest. I've got the address but the cops have my car locked up in impound."

Faust looked inquisitively at Mordred. She seems quite fixated on this theory of hers.

“If I’m right and she is a servant; I’m fairly positive it’s impossible, I don’t think servants can be affected by vampirism unless they happened to be vampires in their original life. And would a vampire brag to others of their kind? I’m afraid I don’t know much about vampire society. I’m sure she has a reason for hanging around Saber, but I have no idea what it could possibly be.”

Mordred

Deep in her heart the girl was an amateur conspiracy theorist, but even she reluctantly agree with Faust.

"Yup, my guess may be outlandish... But, I will get to the matter of it and prove that vampire is up to no good!" Mordred exclaimed with odd enthusiasm

Rin
Quote from: Shirou
“Yes, Mia left a note saying she had gone out somewhere to play,” Shirou said, answering Rin’s question with a tight frown. “She’s obviously strong, but she’s still a little kid, and this city is dangerous.”
"Out to play, huh?" Rin ran her hand through her hair. She was awake enough now to realize that she probably looked like a mess, but wasn't quite alert enough yet to hide the wince that crossed her face as a result.

Given the serious Illya vibes I was getting off of that girl, probably the people that'd attack her are more in trouble than her. Still, I could see how Emiya-kun'd be worried...

"We'll find her. Like you said, she's strong, so she'll probably be fine until we find her," the magus said with a comforting smile. She finished off her milk, hearing Saber offering Shirou a cup of coffee. There was something... off about the way he replied. A certain lack of emotion in his voice.

Maybe he's just worried about Mia, thought Rin, groggy enough still that it wasn't worth bothering thinking much harder into it at the moment.

Quote from: Saber
"I know you prefer tea, but this does have more caffeine in it.  Would you like a cup as well?"
Looking over at Saber, it was sure weird still seeing her in her pajamas like this, and looking somewhat frazzled no less. One would think she'd be an early riser. But Rin had other things to focus on.

The magus looked over at the Servant and nodded with a smile.  "Sure, I wouldn't mind some coffee." Rin looked down at the table as Shirou served breakfast, the smile diminishing. "I definitely need the caffeine at least."

She looked at her plate. Shirou had set forks and knives instead of chopsticks, which surprised her. Maybe because this place was more Western? Unsurprisingly, the food looked delicious. The times she'd been over at his place, the food had been superb.

Rin began tucking into her meal while Saber and Shirou discussed stuffed animals. The conversation had started awkwardly, but it seemed to be going smoothly enough now that it'd kicked off, so eh.

Sepulchure

Sepulchure slowly wandered through the dark and dense forest, looking for signs of civilization. Each step was accompanied by the noise of dead leaves and twigs being crushed beneath his armored feet. The forest was eerily silent, not even the songbirds were singing their tune around him. He silently walked with an assured and unconcerned bearing, as if he knew for a fact that he was in no danger, leaving his large blade hanging at his side. Little did he know that a large pack of wolves had been stalking him for a long time and had finished their encirclement, now waiting for the right time to strike at the creature who had foolishly intruded upon their sanctum.

Some time later...

After a while, Sepulchure’s wanderings had led him to a clearing with a small spring of water. When Sepulchure reached the center of the field, the leader of the pack decided now was the time to attack and let loose a magnificent howl that shook the branches of the surrounding trees. They charged at the interloper with snarling jaws open wide baring their razor sharp fangs to the man.

Sepulchure raised an eyebrow upon seeing the wolves emerge from the shadow of the trees. “Strange, normally animals know their place. Most aren’t suicidal enough to attack me.” He thought to himself. “I guess I’ll have to teach them their proper place!” He exclaimed, drawing his sword faster than a human eye could perceive, following up with another swift movement. He raised his off hand and let loose an immense blast of crackling white energy that vaporized the wolves in front of him along with several old trees that came crashing down with a thunderous boom. He then turned and cleaved in half a wolf that had had the gall to attempt to leap upon him from behind with a single mighty blow. “What a waste of time.”

The remaining wolves cautiously circled around Sepulchure  at a safe distance out of the reach of his blade, unsure of what to do. After a few second, they howled in unison and retreated back into the shadows, only to be replaced by an enormous beast of a wolf. It glared at Sepulchure with anger in it’s eyes. Sepulchure returned the gaze, completely unfazed by the appearance of a monster.

“So, it seems I may have been wrong, perhaps they weren’t so foolish after all, if they were being led by you.” He said.

The giant wolf responded with a howl that shook the heavens and lunged at him with a speed that matched that which Sepulchure had demonstrated earlier and attempted to crush him under his enormous paw. Sepulchure met the paw with a brutal slash of his blade, cutting deep into the wolf’s skin before jumping back to dodge a second blow, pointing his arm at the wolf and let loose a faint black circle barely thicker than his arm.

The wolf stepped back, The grievous wound to its paw quickly sealing up. It howled, and suddenly disappeared in a blur of movement, smacking Sepulchure hard enough to send him flying through a tree before appearing behind him and repeating the process.

“Nngh!” Sepulchure grunted. This enemy was far stronger than he’d expected; the wolf was no pushover. It smacked him again, knocking him into a huge redwood with a deafening crash. He stood up and surrounded himself with a translucent shield; following up by surrounding himself with a dense aura of darkness before he charged at full speed matching the pace of the wolf.

The wolf had no time to react before it found itself being cleaved by the man’s dark blade. It screamed in pain, fury seizing control of its mental facilities. Only one thought remained in its ancient head: destroy the one who had injured it so badly. At a speed even faster than before, it flung Sepulchure away from it and sprinted forward with its mouth open wide, attempting to swallow him whole. If the great beast had still retained control of itself, it may have wondered why Sepulchure didn’t attempt to dodge this time, instead just standing still as it tore towards him.

Pure  darkness enveloped Sepulchure’s blade in preparation as the wolf charged at him. He calmly watched it leap towards him, waiting in a ready stance. Now that the beast was acting on pure instinct, its movements had become predictable. Counterattacking would now be a very simple endeavor. Just before the wolf entered his striking distance, he swung his great blade.
It ripped through the mighty wolf’s skull and eviscerated its brain with one fell swoop, a train of darkness remained for a split second after the sword had swung before dissipating into the air.

Pain filled the  great beast’s consciousness as the empowered blade passed through its skull, destroying both of its eyes in the process. The force of the blow failed to redirect the wolf however and it slammed into Sepulchure at full speed, causing him to tumble wildly along the ground. It smelled the air, and blindly charged once again in the general direction of its assailant.

Sepulchure picked himself up and immediately jumped to the side, barely dodging the mad beast. As it turned to make a third attempt, he punched the ground, sending a wave of black spikes towards the wolf, impaling it in an attempt to temporarily immobilize it. The wolf howled, calling its brethren to aid it in its struggle against the man. The wolves that had retreated before now returned in full force to assist their leader in his deadly struggle. Sepulchure leapt into the air above the wolves and held out his palm, taking several moments to fill it with a black ball of dark energy. After he released the swirling vortex, it grew many times in size, consuming all life in a large radius. Once the blast had dissipated, the only remaining creatures in the field were Sepulchure and Father Wolf, who had managed to free himself from the spikes and heal the injuries they had inflicted upon him. It leapt into the air and headbutted Sepulchure with all the strength in its body, sending him flying into the sky.

“Tch. Fluffy, to me.” He called out, removing his dragon amulet. Fluffy came soaring full speed to its master, ready to serve. Sepulchure touched the dragon with the amulet, causing it to grow into a huge, full sized dracolich that caught Sepulchure on its back and began hovering high above the forest. “Fluffy, destroy the wolf. I’ve grown tired of its antics.” Fluffy roared in response to its master’s order, and released an enormous blast of black fire from its mouth, destroying everything in its path and leaving a large blackened spot in its wake. Nothing of the wolf remained. “Foolish creature. It should have known how powerful I am; what attacking me would entail.” He looked around, finally catching sight of the city. Fluffy flew him to the city, depositing him on the outskirts. It then shrunk back down in size to an adorable baby dracolich. Sepulchure walked into the city. “Now, I need to figure out where I am. This doesn’t look like anywhere on Lore that I know of.”

Kayneth El-Melloi Archibald

As he glanced through the map he scanned the director for any places of interest.

There we a few candidate that would suit someone of Kayneth's stature but they would need to be seen firsthand. The pictures and descriptions alone were lacking after all.

Taking the map and directory with him, Kayneth went to leave but then remembered something.

'Do they even use the same currency?'

It did not matter to him, as he approached the cashier his eyes began to glow in a deep blue.

As the young cashier began to scan the books the prices popped up on the screen.

"That'll be 15.87"

As she waited for Kayneth to pull his wallet out his eyes made contact with her own. The deep blue glare that Kayneth gave began to calm the girl and in an instant she was made to be completely under his control.

"This should suffice."

Taking a twenty dollar bill out he waved off the change and safely walked out of the store as the girl shook off his optical enchantment.

"Now where to go..."

Glancing around the bustling street he noticed the occasional businessman walking by. It was precisely one of these gentlemen that Kayneth began to walk towards.

This time, rather than using an enchantment, his demeanor was enough to cause the well dressed man to stop in his tracks.

"Excuse me, you seem to be well enough off. And as such I expect that you know your way around this city? Well then, take me to these places."

The man confused by the sudden approach of the strangely dressed man had no choice but to listen to Kayneth's commands. With a shrug he began to walk towards the first hotel in the list.

Abigail

The redhead laughed and said, "I guess 'Lord and Lady' type of Fae works.  I don't bibidy-bobbity-boo and turn rags into prom dresses.  That's a little beyond my wheelhouse.  Then again, I've heard about all sorts of crazy type of Fae from other worlds getting here."

She watched Law scarf down a second muffin and pressed her lips together.  Poor thing has had a hell of a night.  Could probably use some real food and not just muffins.  And some pants.  Maybe a shave.

Then she heard him mention "Forest" and that she'd given Law a place to stay.  She perked up, snapped her fingers and asked, "Wait, you know Law Unto Herself?  And she's letting you crash at your place."

She sighed, shook her head and said, "That's so cool!  Like I heard she punches werewolves into oblivion and stuff.  I want to punch werewolves into oblivion."

Forest

The vampire finished her shower and toweled herself dry.  Instead of fussing with the hair dryer, she just loosely braided her blond hair into pig tails and dressed into some purple fleece pajama bottoms and a black turtleneck.  Theoretically she would be going to bed fairly soon due to the sun rising.  Even though she wasn't overly physically tired, but her body did still need a couple hours of rest despite being a vampire.

She could sense Adjutor and the 40K Chick in her gun range, and Archer was still in the kitchen.  Figuring Archer was her priority (and the least annoying and most aesthetically pleasing because sweet Lord and Lady those shoulders and when did Asians start getting so big?) because of his theoretical ties to Saber.  Plus he might need a master with a lot of mystical energy, which Saber had in spades because she had a dragon reactor which made her the bottomless pit she was.

The blond found Archer in the kitchen and said, "Hi.  So.  I know Saber.  She mooches food off of me and she's talked about you, a lot."
