How can I disable messages to my Email?

I keep on getting notifications sent to my email. I looked around for a bit and haven't figured a way to disable them. Any help?

Cherry Lover:
Go to your profile screen and select "notifications" from the "modify profile" menu. The screen you get will give you the option to turn off notifications.
